Privacy Policy

Doctor Indian (“we”, “us”) operates doctorindian.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it is handled. We collect the minimum information needed to run a useful, trustworthy directory — nothing more.

Information we publish

Doctor, hospital and diagnostic center profiles show professional information only: name, qualifications, registration number, designation, specialties, experience, chamber addresses, visiting hours and consultation fee ranges. This information is submitted by the doctor or facility (or their authorised representative) and reviewed by our editorial team before publication.

Information we collect but do not publish

• Join-as-doctor submissions: a contact phone number and email address, used only to verify the submission and reach the doctor about their listing.
• Reviews: the reviewer's name and email address. Only the name and review text are published; the email is used solely for moderation and is never shown publicly or sold.
• Admin accounts: name, email and a securely hashed password for team members who manage listings.

We do not log or store visitors' IP addresses against reviews or submissions, and we do not require patients to create an account to search the directory.

Cookies and advertising

We use a single, essential, first-party cookie to keep admin panel users signed in — it is not used for tracking and is not set for regular visitors browsing the public site. If we enable display advertising (for example, Google AdSense) or analytics in the future, those providers may set their own cookies to measure traffic or serve relevant ads; we will update this policy and provide a cookie notice before doing so.

Third-party storage

Uploaded images (profile photos, facility logos) are stored using Cloudflare R2, an object storage service. Directory data is stored in MongoDB. Neither provider is authorised to use this data for their own purposes.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have submitted (for example, as part of a doctor listing or a review) by contacting us at contact@doctorindian.com. We aim to respond to all requests within 30 days.

Children's privacy

Doctor Indian is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected with a new “last updated” date above.
